The premiere of the musical "Smart Rabbit Momo: Forest Friends" took place

​​As part of preventive measures to combat forest fires, a gala concert of the Children's Theater was held on March 28, 2025, in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Forestry. It is planned to be held throughout the country in collaboration with the OGEM-VAK and the GDF to promote awareness and conscious personality in children, cultivate a love for nature and the forest, and develop measures to combat forest fires.

The 500 students attended the gala evening, as did the General Director of Forestry Bekir Karacabey, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Abdulkadir Polat, and Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakli.

Addressing the audience at the gala, Agriculture and Forestry Minister Ibrahim Yumakli said: “Today, we will watch together a beautiful theatrical performance about our forests, one of the most important treasures of our country. When saplings become trees, they also become a green homeland, and all nature with its shade and fruits becomes a blessing from God for us."

“Therefore, I invite you all to plant saplings on November 11, and I would also like to thank your families and teachers who brought you here," he said.

The movie, which is being shown as a cartoon on the TRT Çocuk channel and will be released in cinemas on March 28, 2025, as a joint production of TRT, is an original musical theater event for children created with the characters Smart Rabbit Momo and the Squirrel, which is the symbol of our General Directorate. The event will start its tour throughout the country starting from April until the end of the year, primarily in the fire-stricken provinces of Antalya, Muğla, İzmir, Denizli, and Çanakkale.​
